Stars Egos Give Minister Electric Shock

The film industry got crushed due to coronavirus and the subsequent lockdown. Many suffered huge losses amounting to crores and with the respective governments giving relaxations to few industries despite the continuation of lockdown, few film celebrities met at Chiranjeevi's house and discussed how to take things forward. Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivasa Yadav dropped in much to the surprise of all and all the celebrities requested him to give permissions for the film shootings.

The minister promised he would get back and after a couple of days, few celebrities along with Chiranjeevi met Telangana CM KCR. While many got super excited at the prospect of shootings resuming, Balakrishna's sensational allegations on the celebrities claiming that he was not invited and questioning whether they were indulging in real estate dhandhas shocked all.

This divided the industry into numerous groups, pro and against Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna. Analysts say Talasani by dropping in at the meeting, unnecessarily got caught in the crossfire between Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna. Talasani though claims that he held discussions with those active heroes, directors, producers, and exhibitors, many feel, he should have held some restraint rather than meeting them at Chiranjeevi's house. Similarly many are saying stars should shed their ego and work for the benefit of the industry.
