Balakrishna, Gopichand On Exchange Mela

Of late, Balakrishna and Gopichand's names are hogging the media limelight and this is making movie lovers wonder whether Balakrishna is starring in Gopichand's film or Gopichand is starring in Balakrishna's film.

Gopichand is doing his second film with Sampath Nandi while Balakrishna is doing his third with Boyapati Srinu. It is common in the industry for a star to reject a story and the same story done by another star. Many say Balakrishna and Gopichand are on exchange mela.

Balakrishna did Ruler with Paruchuri Murali. Sources say Paruchuri Murali narrated the story first to Gopichand who rejected the project. Balakrishna did the same story with KS Ravikumar. The film however bombed at the box office.

Gopichand is now doing Alivelu Venkataramana with Teja who first narrated the story to Balakrishna only to get rejected. But Balakrishna started NTR biopic with Teja and between Teja walked out of the project. Teja narrated Alivelu Manga story to Gopichand and he gave a green signal.
