Mahesh Didn’t Pick Sushant Call, A Day Before Suicide!

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide sent a shockwave across the nation. He was battling with depression for the last six months. The actor was also undergoing psychiatric treatment for the same. His mortal remains were sent to Cooper Hospital in Mumbai for postmortem. According to the reports, the cause of death was suffocation due to hanging.

The reason of Sushant’s suicide is not yet known and police is investigating the same. Medical records and some items were recovered at Sushant’s residence by the police to carry out the investigations. The police will reportedly record statements of Sushant's friends, including his alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and television actor Mahesh Shetty. The statements of a few other friends will also be recorded.

The night before his suicide, Sushant Singh Rajput had made a call to Mahesh Shetty. The call, however, went unanswered.

Mahesh Shetty's team issued a statement on Sushant Singh Rajput's death that read, "He lost a brother, let him grieve his loss. As we all are deeply pained and shocked to hear about Sushant Singh Rajput's untimely demise...So is Mahesh Shetty. He has lost a brother, a very dear friend and is still coming to terms with the shock and reality and is completely heartbroken. We, his team, request the media and all of you, on his behalf, to please give him some privacy and let him grieve for his loss (sic)."
