Pawan Demands SSC Exams Cancellation

In wake of widespread corona pandemic, the Telangana state government cancelled the tenth class examinations. Instead, the students will be given grades based on their internal performances. 

Obviously, demands are on the rise from the teachers' associations and the students for the cancellation of SSC exams which were scheduled to be started from July 10 in the AP state. And now, Janasena president Power Star Pawan Kalyan launched a fresh demand to the ruling YSRCP to get the exams cancelled. It is a common practice Pawan Kalyan's demands are respected by the ruling parties. As such, it's expected the government would cancel SSC exams in AP. 

"The parents are worried about the government's preparation to conduct tenth class examinations in Andhra Pradesh. Schedules have been finlised to hold the exams from July 10 onwards. Though the exam papers have been reduced, it is not at all good to play with the lives of the children by throwing their health into danger in the present situation when COVID 19 is devastating day by day. 

There are no reports of holding examinations even in the neighbouring states of Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Chattisgarh and also across the country. All the examinations for the degree, PG, higher professional,. entrance and employment tests have been cancelled. The state high court has not at all agreed to hold tenth class examinations. 

The COVID cases are on the rise day by day in Andhra Pradesh and more than 6000 cases have been recorded by now. I hope the government will make the right decision with conscious keeping in mind the safety of the children," a brief report of Pawan Kalyan's press note reads.
