Bollywood's popular filmmaker Nishikant Kamat passed away today at a private hospital in Hyderabad. Nishikant Kamat got admitted in hospital after he had been diagnosed with chronic liver disease and other secondary infections.
Nishikant shot to fame with films like Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam, Irfan Khan's Mardaari, and also directed John Abraham in Force and Rocky Handsome.
Nishikant was admitted in AIG Hospitals, Gachibowli on 31st July after he got affected with abdominal distention and jaundice. On examination, he was diagnosed with chronic liver disease. He was shifted to ICU for continuous monitoring under a team of specialist doctors comprising of hepatologists, gastroenterologists, and critical care.
