First Look: Why Shriya Is Disheartened?

Eternal beauty Shriya Saran turns a year old today and birthday wishes are pouring in from the industry. On the occasion, director Krish has released first look poster of the actress from her latest flick Gamanam being helmed by Sujana Rao.

Gamanam first look poster sees Shriya looking disheartened. Draped in traditional saree, she looks homely here. It is a Pan India film made in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. Popular cinematographer Gnana Shekar V. S. turns producer with the film. Ramesh Karutoori and Venki Pushadapu are the other producers.

Gamanam is a real life drama and it will have music by maestro Ilayaraja. It’s a heroine centric film and will have popular actors in important roles. Gnana Shekar V. S. is also handling cinematography, while Sai Madhav Burra pens dialogues. The entire shooting of Gamanam is wrapped up and currently post-production works are underway.

We have typically seen Shriya in glamorous roles. It has to be seen how far she will astonish in a traditional role.
