Following the initial setbacks he is now pinning his hopes on his upcoming entertainer Most Eligible Bachelor directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. Akhil is romancing Pooja Hegde in the film. Apart from it, he is all set to star in the direction of Surender Reddy where Akhil will be seen as an undercover cop in the film.

Now reports are coming that a popular actress is turning mom once again for Akhil. It is known that Akhil made his entry as a toddler in the film Sisindri, a remake of Hollywood hit Baby’s Day Out. In the film actress Aamani played the role of Akhil’s mother. Meanwhile, Aamani revealed that she is turning Akhil’s mom once again in his upcoming entertainer. Now the question is whether Amani is playing Akhil’s mom in Most Eligible Bachelor or in his next with Surender Reddy.

Aamani recollecting Sisindri shoot said the shoot was planned for 30 days but it took 60 days for completion. She added that everyone used to sleep when Akhil used to sleep. She said during the shoot, Akhil was under the impression that she was her mother.
