Khaali Peeli: This Price Tag Will Blow Your Minds!

While South Industry is not that keen to release their films on OTT platforms, except for small to medium range films, Bollywood stars have no qualms to release their films on digital platforms. Starting from Gulabo Sitabo to Shakuntala Devi, many Bollywood films hit OTTs and few are ready for release.

Here comes first Bollywood film that comes up with a pay per view model and it is Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday starrer Khaali Peeli releasing on October 2nd on Zee Plex. The price tag to watch the film will surely blow your minds. One needs to pay Rs 299 to watch the film. This is too high and one can get two to three months subscription for Amazon and few other platforms for same price.

It’s Tollywood that introduced Pay Per View Model. But, it’s proved to be a failure model. It may work in metro cities, but it is not feasible in rural areas. Moreover, it will work only for stars with massive fans following. And chances are high for these films getting pirated.

Directed by Maqbool Khan, the film’s trailer will be dropped today.
