Disha Encounter Trailer Review

Ram Gopal Varma is coming up with yet another film in the lockdown. Titled Disha Encounter, the film is based on the 2019 gang r**e and subsequent murder of a young woman in Hyderabad. The entire story is narrated in this trailer starting from Disha parking her bike at toll gate, then the four crooks abducting her and finally burning her alive.

The best part in the trailer was last shot where the camera zooms out from an underpass where Disha was burnt to the highway road on the underpass where many vehicles pass through including police van that was searching for Disha. Last portion indicate the encounter of the four criminals.

Disha Encounter is directed by Anand Chandra while Natti Kranthi and Natti Karuna are producing it. Srikant Iyengar, Sonia Akula and Praveen Raj are the lead cast. DSR scored music. The background score of the trailer has RGV’s mark to it.

The film will be releasing on November 26th, the same day the incident took place.
