Telugu Director’s 1st Bollywood Film Going OTT Way

Anushka Shetty starrer super hit film Bhagamathie is getting remade in Hindi as Durgavati with Bhumi Pednekar playing the lead role. G Ashok who directed the original is directing the remake version as well. Meanwhile, it is coming out that, the scary-thriller presented by Akshay Kumar will have direct to digital release on Amazon Prime Video.

Durgavati is presented by Cape Of Good Films and produced by T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment. The film's principal shooting is completed and the remaining two days patchwork will be filmed next week in Mumbai to call it a wrap. Its post-production work is said to be happening remotely.

Apparently G Ashok dreamed big with Durgavati as the film has scope to perform well in Bollywood as well. But, unfortunately, due to unfavorable conditions, the film is now going OTT way. However, if the film receives positive response, then G Ashok may get another good opportunity to direct a Bollywood flick.
