Uppena Also Gives up, Finally!

New mega hero Vaishnav Tej's debut film Uppena was supposed to hit screens on April 5 but was deferred indefinitely due to the spreading of coronavirus pandemic and subsequent implementation of lockdown. 

Since a couple of filmmakers preferred their films released on OTT platforms, it was strongly buzzed that Uppena would also be releasing on OTT platform. However, the film's team has kept on condemning the rumours afloat on the film's release on OTT. 

Having gone through the latest reports, all those rumours on Uppena are likely to be proved right. It's speculated that Amazon Prime has come up with a juicy offer to own the film's rights. Currently, negotiations are going on. If at all the deal okayed, the makers will come up with an official announcement.

Krithi Shettty has played Vaishnav's romantic interest in this intense romantic entertainer that hasVijay Sethupathy in an antagonist role. Rockstar DSP provided the music. The movie was directed by Sukumar's protege Sana Buchibabu under Mythri Movie Makers. Sukumar Writings is the co-production house.
