Sudha Kongara’s latest film Soorarai Pottru which has been released in Telugu as Aakasam Nee Haddura is making waves across both the regions. The OTT release has won appreciation from netizens and got rave reviews as well. The latest buzz is that producers are planning to have a Hindi remake of the original film, Soorarai Pottru.
Sources in the know have revealed that makers are keen to have a Hindi version as the subject has the potential to get watched by a larger audience. A source says, “The unbelievable response has put the makers jubilant and made them think have a Hindi version. With tremendous response from netizens, the Hindi version is likely on cards”.
Meanwhile, director Sudha Kongara has expressed her interest to direct the Hindi film. For the unversed, she made her directorial debut with Drohi, a Tamil film. She shot to fame with R Madhavan’s Irudhi Suttrul and Saala Khadoos, which was made in Telugu with Venkatesh as Guru.
