Producer Donates Breast Milk In Lockdown

Nidhi Parmar, Saand Ki Aankh producer is making news for her noble gesture. Amidst lockdown NIdhi has donated 42 litres of breast milk during the lockdown period to help the newborn babies. It is worth mentioning that the producer has welcomed her new born, baby boy, this year in February.

Speaking about her donating the breast milk, Nidhi said that after one month of her son’s birth she realized  that she still had unused breast milk. She then approached her gynecologist, who advised her to approach donation centres which would help her to utilise it to fullest.

She said, “My home freezer kept filling up. And I had read on the internet that breast milk goes bad after three-four months in a home freezer. By then, I had about three packets of 150 ml each, waiting to be used”. The producer continues to iterate that she plans to extend this cause till the year end.
