Rajamouli Replaced, Not His Dad

It is a known news that, Bellamkonda Srinivas is making Bollywood debut with Chatrapathi remake. A popular Bollywood production house will bankroll the project. It is learnt that, Rajamouli was approached to direct the remake version, but he was reluctant as he doesn’t want to do remakes and moreover he’s occupied with other commitments.

Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad who penned the story of Chatrapathi reworked on the script for Hindi version. He is said to have made enough changes in the second half according to the tastes of Hindi audiences. In fact, Chatrapathi second half was not as accelerated as first half.

Another interesting update about Chatrapathi Hindi remake is VV Vinayak who directed Bellamkonda Srinivas’s maiden film Alludu Seenu will be directing the film. Like for the young hero, the film marks Hindi debut for VV Vinayak as well. 

Chatrapathi remake will start rolling, after Bellamkonda completes his ongoing film Alludu Adhurs with Santosh Srinivas.
