Quite a low percentage of polling at GHMC elections is likely to turn a blessing in disguise for the ruling Trs party of Telangana. The GHMC polling was held on December 1 and the counting of votes is scheduled on December 4.

The exit polls of the much talked about elections have been out and all the survey agencies showed an edge to the pink party.

According to People's Pulse survey, the Trs will comfortably get between 68 and 78 seats with a vote share of 38% while the MIM will grab between 38 and 42 wards. The BJP may get between 25 and 35 wards while the Congress party would get confined to just 5 seats with a vote share of 12%.

The Pulse Survey and the CPS survey asserted that the Trs would get more than 80 seats while the number has been breached even 100, according to the 'Third Vision' survey.

Though the survey agencies predicted the Trs's landslide victory in the poll battle, it must be recalled that all the exit poll results tumbled down in the case of Dubbaka by-elections.
