Nothing succeeds like success in the film industry and we may probably have another example to justify that. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, who delivered a profitable venture for this Sankranti in the form of Master across Tamil and Telugu languages, may collaborate with its lead actor again. Yes, from what we hear, actor Vijay has given a nod to do a film with the Master filmmaker again.

However, Vijay will first finish CoCo Kokila director-fame Nelson before he moves onto this project.  Lokesh Kanagaraj will wrap up Vikram with Kamal Haasan at the same time. Another exciting news surrounding the Vijay-Lokesh project is that Telugu film banner Mythri Movie Makers will be associated with the film and also may have music by A R Rahman.

The project is very likely a Tamil-Telugu bilingual that may go on floors later this year or early 2022. Vijay has always repeated combinations with successful directors in the past, including A R Murugadoss, Atlee to name a few. So this doesn’t come entirely as a surprise. Vijay has also committed to another project with Policeodu, Adirindi director Atlee, which the latter may take up once he finishes his film with Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan. Vijay has had an enviable track record off late in Tamil films and he’ll look to strengthen his Telugu market with his upcoming projects.
