Poolarangadu girl back in action

Success is the only formula by which the film industry works. Of course, for an actress, the realities are harsher. Esha Chawla, who started her career on a high with two consecutive hits Prema Kaavali and Poola Rangadu had a hattrick of flops later. It has taken almost seven years for the actress to bounce back in Telugu cinema, despite actively seeking opportunities. Now, in her comeback project in Telugu titled Agochara, Esha has teamed up with Godavari, Maharshi-fame actor Kamal Kamaraju.

Agochara will have her playing a double role for the first time in her career. The film’s shoot has already commenced in Uttarakhand, amidst chilly weather conditions with the entire star cast in attendance. This is an adaptation of the Spanish thriller film Julia Eyes. Esha’s character(s) is expected to have multiple shades in this film where Kamal Kamaraju plays her on-screen husband.

The film has an exciting lineup including Sunil, Bramahananadam, and Ajay Kumar Singh, who’re to be seen in prominent roles. Lovely World Production is bankrolling the film being directed by cinematographer-turned-director Kabir Lal. Agochara will be releasing in 4 languages – Telugu, Tamil Marathi and Bengali – in June. Will Esha’s second innings prove fruitful? One has to wait and watch.
