Venky Trolled For Being Greedy!

As we reported recently, director Venky Kudumula who delivered two super hits Chalo and Bheeshma got cheated by cyber criminals. He was duped to the tune of Rs 63,000. The director got a call from someone who introduced himself as a representative of the Directorate of Film Festivals Corporation.

Venky Kudumula was told that his film Bheeshma was nominated in six award categories, and that he needed to pay 63K as processing fee. When he realised that he was cheated, Venky filed a complaint with the cybercrime police station.

As soon as the news came out, Venky Kudumula has been getting trolled for his lack of basic knowledge about film festivals and awards. The trolls have asked him to apply common sense. They have been trolling the director for being greedy for awards for a regular commercial film like Bheeshma.

Netizens have also pointed out that it's producers who transfer money, not directors for such things.
