Venky Rejects, Chaitu Gives His Nod

Director Tharun Bhascker made impressive debut with Pelli Choopulu introducing Vijay Deverakonda as lead actor. Then, he made a youthful entertainer Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi which bombed at the box office. The director for his third film approached hero Venkatesh. But, for some reasons, the project got delayed for long. It’s unclear whether the film got postponed or shelved completely.

In the meantime, Tharun Bhascker approached Naga Chaitanya with a different script and the young hero loved it and gave his nod, it seems. Official announcement regarding the film will be made soon. The film is said to be a youthful romantic entertainer with adequate comedy. More details will be awaited.

On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya who was last seen in Venky Mama is presently starring in Thank You under the direction of Vikram Kumar. His Love Story with Sekhar Kammula is slated for release on April 16th.
