Vamsi Paidipally gunning for Ilaya Thalapathi

Vamsi Paidipally captured the imagination of all with his thought-provoking and message-oriented films like Oopiri and Maharshi. He hugged the media limelight when his film Maharshi starring Mahesh Babu won the National award. From then on speculation increased about his next. 

According to the sources, Vamsi will be directing Kollywood star Ilaya Thalapathi Vijay in his next. Vijay recently scored a hit with Master and is currently busy with his 65th film under the direction of Nelson Dileep Kumar. The film which is a Telugu Tamil bilingual will be produced by Dil Raju. An official announcement is expected soon. 

If Vijay teams with Vamsi Paidipally, it will be for the first time that a Tamil superstar is starring in the direction of a Telugu director. Vijay is romancing Pooja Hegde in his upcoming entertainer. Vamsi's Maharshi had the shades of Vijay's films Katti and Sarkar.
