When Chiranjeevi Was Reluctant!

Chiranjeevi carries a larger-than-life image. The actor has enthralled audiences with his dance number and kick-ass stunt scenes and he also surprised fans back then with his singing skills. Chiranjeevi showcased his singing ability in Master (1997).

Director Suresh Krishna recalls that he had to convince Chiranjeevi to lend his voice for the song, Are Thammudu. The director says that Chiranjeevi very much had inhibitions and was very apprehensive when he was asked to sing.

Chiranjeevi was very reluctant but the filmmaker persisted behind Chiranjeevi and made him sing. Finally Chiranjeevi gave in to the filmmaker and the result is out which was a hit. Currently, Chiranjeevi awaits the release of Acharya. The film was supposed to hit the screens on May 13 but due to pandemic the film got postponed.
