Bharat Ratna for NTR: Chiru

It’s 98th birth anniversary of Telugu stalwart Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao aka NTR. From Nandanmuri to fans and Telugu people are remembering this legend on this occasion. Megastar Chiranjeevi too extended his greetings but put in place a wish that has been pending for ages.

Yes, Chiru has wished that the government of India would honour NTR with Bharat Ratna which is the highest civilian award in the country. “Just like Bhupen Hazarika who was awarded Bharat Ratna after his death, NTR also deserves the highest recognition. This honour will make the entire Telugu community all over the world pride. As NTR’s 100 birth anniversary is approaching, Bharat Ratna award will be deserving honour not just for him but to the entire Telugu community. Remembering the legend on his 98th birth anniversary,” wrote Chiru in a note.

Probably this is for the first time Chiru has openly talked about Bharat Ratna award to NTR. It’s better late than never!
