Chowdary responds on hero Vishal’s case

Earlier this week hero Vishal lodged a complaint against noted producer RB Chowdary alleging that the latter has not returned cheque leaves, bonds and promissory notes despite clearing the borrowed loan.

In a tweet, Vishal stated that producer Chowdary has been evading him for months, claiming that he had misplaced the documents. Responding to this case, producer Chowdary stated that this is a minor case.

“Never did I trouble Vishal. It’s true that Vishal borrowed money from me and T. Subramanyam. He did sign on the promissory notes while taking the money and after the release, he cleared borrowed money. On the day of repayment, we signed the documents and handed them over to director Sivakumar. Unfortunately director Sivakumar passed away and so we are unable to retrieve the papers that Vishal has asked for,” said producer Chowdary.

Adding, the producer said, he had conveyed the same to Vishal but the hero is afraid that we are deliberately hiding the papers and might bring trouble to him in future. But to be frank, we really don’t have the papers. This issue has turned into a big sensation in Kollywood.

How will this issue get sorted? Probably the Tamil producers’ council should step in. Vishal being a producer himself, can find an amicable solution.
