Telugu actress arrested for consuming drugs

Ever since the Sushant Singh Rajput episode, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has been cracking many drug cases. In a fresh episode, Telugu Actress Naira Shah who played the female lead in ‘Burra Katha’ and ‘E.. Ee’ was arrested by the NCB for consuming drugs.

The NCB stormed at a hotel on Sunday morning at 3 o'clock in Juhu, Mumbai. Naira and her friend Ashiq Sajid Husain were arrested by the Santacruz Police upon the directions of NCB. Both Naira and her friend were taken to a hospital for medical tests and then produced before the court.

The next day i.e, on Monday Naira and her friend received bail. Naira was arrested under IPC Section 274 and the National Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act.
