A secret meeting between producers, theatre owners in AMB Mall?

Reports have it that an important meet regarding the Telugu film industry happened in Mahesh Babu's Amb Mall, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The meeting took place right after Telangana CM KCR announced the lifting of the lockdown restrictions in the state.

Inside talk is top personalities in the film industry met at Amb Mall,Gachibowli. They discussed the current problems regarding the opening of theatres though the Government has given all the permissions.

Sources say though few producers and theatre owners met at the luxurious Amb Mall owned by Mahesh Babu, many celebrities in the industry did not get the invitation. Buzz is only those who are influencing decisions in Tollywood, who own maximum theatres in Telangana, and important single theatres owners attended the meeting.

They arrived at the decision that they cannot open theatres in the near future though the government has given them permission. It is known that the Government of Telangana gave some concessions for the theatres. However, the government is yet to implement them. So they are keen to make the government first implement them before they open the theatres.

Theatre owners are not keen to open the theatres till the producers agree to the percentage system instead of the current rental system in the theatres.
