Tuck Jagadeesh forced towards OTT

Natural Star Nani’s upcoming entertainer Tuck Jgadeesh directed by Shiva Nirvana is hogging the media limelight since long time. Had things been normal the film would have been released long time back. Rumours spread that the makers are skipping the theatrical release and go for a direct OTT release. Few weeks back the makers rubbished all the rumours and made clear that the film will be releasing in theatres only.

However it seems the makers are forced to release the film in OTT. This because though theatres are opened in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, people are not coming out in huge numbers. To the top of it, the ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh are very less leaving the exhibitors and distributors high and dry.

In the meantime it is coming out that the makers got a fancy deal from Amazon Prime and they are planning to ink it in the coming days. Inside talk is Amazon Prime offered the makers Rs 37crs deal and including Hindi dubbing rights and satellite rights they producers get around Rs 50crs. Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh are the heroine in the film produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi.
