Navarasa in a controversy

Ace filmmaker Maniratnam came with a web series, Navarasa an anthology highlighting the 9 emotions among humans. The web series which is streaming on Netflix got mixed reviews from all quarters.

In the midst of all this, reports are coming that Navarasa is landing in a controversy. Inside talk is Muslims are angry with Maniratnam's Navarasa. #BanNetflix is trending on social media after a Muslim organization Raza Academy has taken a strong exception for hurting the sentiments of the Muslims.

Raza Academy posted 'Netflix has published a verse of the Quran in the advertisement of its film Navarasa in Daily Thanthi newspaper. This is an insult to the Quran. We demand strict action against @NetflixIndia".The producers of the show are yet to respond but many people are branding it as an insult to the Quran.
