* The Mughals were elevated as the heroes of India. They were glorified to such an extent as if there were no better rulers than the Mughals. However, true historians assert that the rulers like Baber, Akbar, Aurangjeb etc. were indulged in the misgovernance and they didn't hesitate involve in the genocide of particular group of people at times.

* The great Chanakya was acclaimed as 'Indian Machiavelli'. As a matter of fact, Chanakya lived in the 3rd century BC while Machiavelli belonged to the 15th century. Something similar humiliation was done to Samudraguptha.

* Further, more twists were incorporated to the Indian freedom struggle to glorify the Congress leaders like Gandhi and Nehru. It was alleged if the nation's projected leader had tried to his best, great patriot Bhagat Singh wouldn't have been hanged by the British.

* Two biggest leaders of the Congress party held responsible for the partition of India, formation of Pakistan and the mass massacre of lakhs of people of particular religion's people in Pakistan.

BOTTOM-LINE: The PM Modi is on a mission to correct the historical blunders committed by the anti nationals. Recently, the Modi government has invited the opinions of the people and intellectuals extensively to change the history syllabus in the textbooks. The history to be rewritten would implicate only truth, deleting the existing lies in the history books.
