Sai Dharam Tej, Aishwarya Rajesh's high octane action entertainer Republic directed by Deva Katta is releasing on October 1st as a grand manner. The film is a powerful take on corruption involved in political circles.

The makers celebrated the pre release event today and Power Star Pawan Kalyan graced the function. Pawan Kalyan delivered a power packed and explosive speech at the event. He showered praises on Deva Katta for coming with a powerful film like Republic and asked everyone not to be timid but courageous and fight against the atrocities as otherwise the spirit of Republic would be lost.

He asked the AP government and the rival YSRCP to target him and dared to ban him rather than target the entire film industry. He said AP government and the useless minister, he didn't take the name of Perni Nani, are targeting the film industry as AP government is financially bankrupt and they are eying Tollywood's revenue to get loans from the banks.

He warned that he will not keep quiet if they target the film industry and told all those in the film industry including Mohan Babu not to be silent but forget the differences and fight for the industry. He asked the media to question the atrocities of the politicians rather than concentrate on Sai Dharam Tej's accident for TRPs.

He said Tollywood is paying the highest taxes and they are getting paid for their hardwork and not looting anyone's money. Pawan Kalyan's speech got thunderous and roaring applause. Pawan said Sai Dharam Tej is still in coma and added he will soon come out with more power. Vaishnav Tej who attended the event said his brother Sai Dharam Tej is recovering quickly and wished the makers all the best. Harish Shankar, Gopichand Malineni, Maruti,Aishwaraya Rajesh, Abburi Ravi,Dil Raju and others attended the event.

Republic stars Jagapathy Babu, Ramya Krishna, Subbaraju, Rahul Ramakrishna in important roles and Manisharma is the music director.
