AR.Rahman’s Batukamma song ‘Allipoola Vennela’ weaves magic

Telangana CM KCR’s daughter Kavitha has been promoting Telangana culture and traditions across the world. She through her organisation Telangana Jagruthi Samithi has been organising Batukamma festival every year in a grand manner.

This year, Kavitha decided to turn it even grander and teamed with celebrities Gautam Vasudev Menon and Oscar winner AR.Rahman to come with a song highlighting Telangana Batukamma festival. The song ‘ Allipoola Vennela’ tuned by Rahman is released today by today. Rahman along with Gautam Menon who directed the song met Kavitha at her residence today and released the song.

Popular writer Mittapalli Surender penned lyrics for the song while the song has been choreographed by Brinda master. Uttara Unnikrishnan beautified the song with her melodious voice. The song has been shot in a beautiful manner in the exotic locations of Telangana,. The Batukamma festival will be celebrated from October 6th for 9 days.
