We heard many negative stories about Icon Star Allu Arjun's Pushpa Hindi version ahead of the film's release. And true to those stories the makers had merely neglected promoting the film aggressively in the Northern circuit. Altogether, it was predicted that Pushpa's Hindi version would be bombed at the box office.
Proving those speculations, Pushpa started off on a snail pace with the morning shows. However, the film picked up momentum by the first and the second shows. According to the reports from Bollywood trade analysts, Pushpa Hindi version minted Rs.3 crore nett on its first day which is impressive given the limitations in the post-covid era.
We are hearing the reports that Pushpa is strong on day two as well and the enthusiastic fans are sharing the screen shots of the ticket booking statuses of various theatres in North India. It must be recalled that KGF, the pre Covid era's film, accumulated Rs.2.80 crore nett on its day one. As such, Pushpa beat the film with a comfortable margin of Rs.20 lakh on day one.
It's anticipated that Pushpa would post encouraging numbers on Saturday and Sunday as well. The Hindi version of the film needs to collect Rs.14 nett in its full run.
