Heavy betting: Sparks to fly on April 14

Movie lovers across the nation are waiting eagerly for April 14 and even trade analysts are expecting sparks to fly on the silver screen and a box office war on April 14. Buzz is heavy betting is going on as business worth over Rs 1000crs is predicted with three high profile films like Mr.Perfectionist Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chadda, Thalapathy Vijay's Beast, and Yash-Prashant Neel's Beast announcing April 14 as the release date for their films.

This came as a shock as during the covid times, the entire film industry across the world got affected and the producers and the makers are cooperating with each other so that they will not eat into other's profits. But with the makers of all three films making it clear that the films Beast, Lal Singh Chadda and KGF2 will be releasing on April 14, tension is prevailing.

While Aamir Khan's Lal Singh Chadda is set to release in Telugu as it features Naga Chaitanya, Vijay's Beast will be releasing in Telugu and other languages apart from Tamil. KGF2 is carrying high expectations and with the three films in fray, there will be intense competition for theatres. It has to be seen as to which film will affect which one and whether corona will permit the release of these films on April 14.
