Will Ghani affect Liger?

Mega Prince Varun Tej's sports-based entertainer Ghani hit the screens amidst huge expectations on April 8, 2022. Ghani is a sports-based entertainer and Varun Tej worked hard and transformed his physique for the role of a boxer. He worked on his mannerisms, emotions, and expressions for the role.  However, debutante Kiran Korrapati's inexperience and cliched narration turned the film into a below-average flick pouring cold water on the dreams of Varun Tej. Bollywood beauty Saiee Manjrekar's role turned out to be inconsequential in the film and so too are the other actors' roles.

Now speculation is on whether Ghani will impact Liger. Liger happens to be Rowdy Star Vijay Devarakonda's Bollywood debut project and is directed by Puri Jagannath. The film is a mixed martial arts entertainer and Vijay Devarakonda trained rigorously under various experts. Boxing Legend Mike Tyson is playing a powerful role and the film stars Ananya Pandey as the heroine and has a star-studded Bollywood cast.

Many feel that Liger is experiencing Ghani scares as Puri Jagannath is known routine entertainers and of late his track record is not good. His films failed at the box office and though Ram's iSmart Shankar turned out to be another routine entertainer, the release timing turned the film into a blockbuster.
