Huge insult to Bollywood Star

Bollywood films are getting crushed under the mass action movies from the South. Bollywood pinned all their hopes on Khiladi Akshay Kumar's prestigious historical entertainer Samrat Prithviraj directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Diwedi of blockbuster TV serial Chanakya. The film is bankrolled in a lavish manner by Yash Raj Films. But much to the disappointment of all, the film sank at the box office.

Now in a huge insult to superstar Akshay Kumar, theatres are forced to cancel the shows of Samrat Prithviraj due to zero occupancy. The organisers shared  "#SamratPrithviraj is rejected... The heavy budget on one hand and the poor outcome on the other, has sent shock waves within the industry... Fri 10.70 cr, Sat 12.60 cr, Sun 16.10 cr, Mon 5 cr, Tue 4.25 cr, Wed 3.60 cr, Thu 2.80 cr. Total: ? 55.05 cr. #India biz."

Samrath Prithviraj marked the debut of Miss World Manushi Chillar in Bollywood and featured Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood in important roles.
