Sita Ramam inspiration revealed

Dulqer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur's Sita Ramam directed by Hanu Raghavapudi is casting a magic spell on movie lovers. People are singing praises of the film and branding it as an epic love story. Now Hanu Raghavapudi speaking to scribes, revealed the inspiration behind Sita Ramam.

He said he is inspired by the Canadian film Incendies directed by Denis Villeneuve of Dune fame. Hanu Raghavapudi created the love story part which was not there in the original. Incendies revolve over a dead person's will and heirs travel to various locations. While Incendies have a Muslim-Christian backdrop, Hanu Raghavapudi included a Hindu-Muslim backdrop.

There are many scenes similar in both films but Hanu Raghavapudi used his creativity to create a classic. The film starred Rashmika Mandanna in an important role while Vishal Chandrasekhar tuned the music. Sumanth,Tharun Bhaskar,Gautam Menon,Bhumika,Vennela Kishore,Murali Sharma,Prakash Raj,Sunil,Priyadarshi,Rahul Ravindran,Shatru,Jishshu Sen Gupta,Sachin Khedekar played important roles in the film.
