Bollywood heroine buys a flat for a whopping 48 crores

Real Estate in Mumbai has touched sky high and a simple apartment in any suburb of the city starts anywhere around 2 crores. On the other hand, film stars are the one who earn big bucks and spend most of the money on buying plush properties.

The latest one to do so is Madhuri Dixit. She has bought a plush apartment in Mumbai for a whopping 48 crores. Yes, you heard that right. It is 48 crores and has an area of  5,384 square feet. 

The apartment comes with seven car parking spaces and has a private lift and a spa and swimming pool. The plush property is part of the Indiabulls Blu project and the area of the apartment, which is on the 53rd floor of the building and is sea facing.

Madhuri and her doctor husband have paid close to 3 crores in just stamp duty. Madhuri's husband is a very popular cardiologist and Madhuri herself earns in crores these days ever since she has made her comeback on the small screen. But shelling out 48 crores on an apartment is just too much.
