Aamir khan in another controversy

Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan is facing a tough time both personally and professionally. His recent release Laal Singh Chadda which is the remake of the Hollywood classic The Forest Gump turned out to be a disaster. The film faced a boycott campaign ahead of its release following his earlier comments of him and his wife Kiran Rao feeling insecure and planning to leave the country.

Despite Aamir Khan's pleas and his attempts to cool the tempers by pacifying that he never meant that, people did not buy his argument. Now, Aamir Khan landed in another controversy. His commercial along with Kiara Advani for AU Small Finance Bank landed on the wrong side. The commercial started showing Aamir and Kiara Advani as newlyweds traveling back post their wedding in a car. They discuss that none of them cried during the bidaai (a post-wedding ceremony), before they reach their house. It is then revealed that contrary to the usual practice, it is the groom, who has moved to the bride’s house to help her in taking care of her ailing father. The groom takes the first step in their new house, as opposed to the tradition of the bride doing so. Aamir then appears in a bank and says in Hindi, “Why should traditions that have continued for centuries continue to do so? That’s why we question every banking tradition. So that you get the best service.”

Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri, lambasted saying "I just fail to understand since when Banks have become responsible for changing social & religious traditions? I think @aubankindia should do activism by changing the corrupt banking system. Aisi bakwaas karte hain fir kehte hain Hindus are trolling. Idiots." It has to be seen how Aamir Khan and the company react to the latest controversy.
