Rishab Shetty, Saptami Gowda's Kantara is casting a magic spell on movie lovers across the world. Movie lovers are heaping praises on director Rishab Shetty for highlighting the age old rituals and practises in Karnataka.

In the midst of all this, Kantara is landing in a huge controversy and legal trouble is looming large. It all started when movie lovers found resemblances to Ajaneesh Lokanath's song Varaha Roopam to Navasaram composed by popular music band Thaikkudam Bridge. Ajaneesh Lokanath refused copy allegations and added that he drew inspiration.

But popular music band Thaikkudam Bridge took a strong exception and alleged that the makers did not even give them credit and went on record that they will be taking a legal action. The Kochi based band shared "We would like our listeners to know that Thaikkudam Bridge is no way or form affiliated with Kantara. The unavoidable similarities between our LP 'Navarasam' and 'Varaha roopam' in terms of audio is therefore a blatant infringement of copyright laws."
