Shahrukh Khan's historic comeback film Pathaan witnesses strong run at the box office. Even after three weeks of its release, it collects big numbers on its weekdays too. It has now surpassed the Rs 950 crore mark globally. Pathaan is now set to enter the Rs 1000-crore club at the worldwide box office collection. Even in India, the film is doing incredibly well as it collected Rs 12.50 crore on Sunday and has managed to break several records in Hindi cinema. It is inching closer to breaking Baahubali 2’s record as well, which is a huge feat in itself.
The film is all set to enter the Rs 1000 crore club at the worldwide box office now. Pathaan minted around Rs 946 crore worldwide in 20 days. It collected Rs 588 Crore in India and Rs 358 Crore in overseas. The film opened big on its release day itself and keeps growing day by day. It utilised every opportunity like public holidays, open ground without no new releases. It still have some fuel left to cross many records and Maha Shivaratri which is a public holiday all over the country is around the corner.
Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham have come together for the first time in Pathaan. The film is written and directed by Siddharth Anand and bankrolled by Yash Raj Films. It is the fourth installment in the YRF Spy Universe after Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai and War.
