Farzi Season 2 Work Started

Shahid Kapoor debuted into OTT with Prime Video Original series, Farzi. The series is trending in Amazon TV shows. Farzi was released online on Amazon on February 10, 2023. The action thriller web series is Shahid Kapoor's digital debut helmed by the acclaimed director duo, Raj and DK. The duo had earlier created The Family Man series with Manoj Bajpayee in the titular role. Interestingly, Farzi is an extension of the same universe. 

Farzi' has a brilliant cast of Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Raashii Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, Bhuvan Arora, Regina Cassandra, and Amol Palekar in significant roles. Shahid Kapoor recently confirmed the release of Farzi Season 2 at an event. A sequel to the Raj & DK series will be released on the OTT platform, but it will take some time. 

Counterfeiting is the world's second-oldest profession, and Raj and DK's Farzi is all about it. Although the Amazon Prime Video original series is about Farzi notes, the concept is completely unique. Farzi is an intriguing watch with 8 episodes. The series teases it by having Vijay Sethupathi's Michael role work with an undercover agent from Raj and DK's espionage world, The Family Man.

The second season is said to be moving more towards The Family Man series direction adding more characters and making it a Raj & DK Verse. It will be exciting to see Manoj Bajpayee, Vijay Sethupathi and Shahih Kapoor together.
