Srikanth revealed “It’s not like I’m the first Telugu filmmaker to approach him…he just wasn’t interested,” says Srikanth. “However, I went down to Kochi to meet him personally and he agreed to meet me. I had no one but him in mind while writing the character. Luckily, he was so impressed by the story that he agreed to allocate dates even though he was busy with a Tamil film.”

Joju got so excited that he wants to dub for his role. But Srikanth adds "While Joju wants to dub for himself in Telugu, it’ll require a pakka Telugu dialect for the character to work. So, we’ll wrap up shooting and see if he’ll dub for himself or not,” The film's shooting is in full swing in Hyderabad and next schedule is planned at Chilkur.

Srikanth shares We also wrapped up an exciting scene in Kokapet – it cost us Rs 1 crore to shoot for three nights. I was supposed to debut with Aham Brahmasmi (starring Manchu Manoj), but that didn’t work out. I’m glad this will be my debut project,” About Vaisshnav Tej's costumes, Srikanth revealed We flew in Vaisshnav’s costumes from Dubai. He looks like a boy-next-door in the first half, but the second half takes him to Rayalaseema. Sreeleela is also a major plus for the film – they both look so good together,”
