Adah Sharma on The Kerala Story Victims. The Kerala Story directed by Sudipto Sen is hogging all the media attention and is on the limelight for the hard-hitting narration of the missing women who were forcibly converted to Islam in Kerala and then turned terrorists. The film is getting divided opinions from various quarters and Sudipto Sen said those who are criticizing the film are secretly watching the film and are even praising it.

Similarly, Adah Sharma speaking to scribes said that victims are expressing their happiness and support that finally their version of the story and pain is getting heard. She said she met the victims before performing the role. She said "Yes I did. They knew I was doing the film before  I knew I was doing it. Our director had told them."

She added " They were very happy that finally someone is telling their story, which others had dismissed by denying its existence. That's because it's too uncomfortable for them to address"
