Will Rajamouli's Mahabharat ever materialize? Right after the sensation of Baahubali, Rajamouli shared that his dream project would be Hindu epic Mahabharat. He said however, it will not happen in the immediate future but added that he will turn his dream project into a reality and then retire on a high note.

Rajamouli after Baahubali went on to leave all stunned with RRR. The film though got mixed reviews however, did the entire nation proud by mesmerizing movie lovers across the world. The film's song Naatu Naatu even went on to win the prestigious Oscars. Following this and with the Indian filmmakers planning films on the Hindu epic Ramayan, Rajamouli's Mahabharat talk is resurfacing.

It is known that Allu Aravind is planning a film on Ramayan and Prabhas-Om Raut is coming with Adi Purush, a film on Ramayan. Rajamouli while talking about Mahabharat said it will take ten years to do a film for him and even wondered whether any top stars will allot dates for ten years only for his project.

Rajamouli said that he is planning to do Mahabharat in ten episodes. But the question is will a ten episodes film on Mahabharat is a viable option? It is known that in Hollywood franchisees came but in the Indian film industry, it is a rarity and a near impossible. But Rajamouli is known to turn impossible things a reality and let us hope that Rajamouli will create wonders with Mahabharat.
