CM performs special pooja to Khairatabad Ganesh

Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Wednesday called upon all sections of people to participate in the Ganesh immersion procession irrespective of religion and caste.

Talking to media persons after performing special puja to mammoth Ganesh idol installed at Khairatabad, Mr Rosaiah asked people to maintain peace and restraint during the procession.

The Chief Minister also appealed to people to maintain harmony in the aftermath of the Babri Masjid title suit verdict which the Allahabad High Court is expected to deliver September 24.

Along with the Chief Minister, Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, Health and Family Welfare Minister Danam Nagender, Backward Classes Welfare Minister B Mukesh Goud, Information Technology Minister Komati Reddy Venkata Reddy and others also offered special puja to the Ganesh ido, the final day of immersion.
