Ayesha Meera Case: Satyam Babu gets Life Term

The case of Ayesha Meera has taken enough twists. Rape and murder of Ayesha Meera three years ago has taken entire country by a sensation. With prolonged investigations and extended medical tests, at last our Police department submitted the technically substantial evidences before the local court of Vijayawada. As expected earlier, the judgment of court was not shocking as physically handicapped Pidathala Satyam Babu was given the life imprisonment for Murder under Section 302 and imprisonment of 10 years for Rape under Section 376 along with a fine of Rs.1000 (or) extension of term by 6 months.

While Ayesha Meera’s mother is unhappy with the verdict complaining on the corrupt Police officials, Political pressure and their false evidences trying to save some of the major politicians (Koneru Ranga Rao) and their family members involved in the case. Mariamma, mother of Suri Babu fell unconscious in the court premises listening the verdict. 

Ayesha Meera (19) is First year B. Pharmacy Student of Nimra Engineering College, Hostler of Sri Durga Ladies Hostel was raped and murdered atrociously at the midnight hours of 26th December, 2007.  

Now, the prosecutor of Suri Babu is filing the case in High Court in order to see that justice is prevailed.
