Eluru, Sept 11 :
A three-day state-level conference of pathologists began at Ashram Medical College here on Friday under the aegis of the Andhra Pradesh chapter of the Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists (IAPM).
N.T. R. Health University Vice-Chancellor Prof L V Krishnam Raju inaugurated the three-day event on the medical college campus.Conference organiser P V B Ramalakshmi told reporters that around 400 pathologists and post-graduate students from different parts of the State would take part in the programme.
President of the State chapter of the IAPM R Sriramulu Naidu has chaired the inaugural session of the conference. A workshop on diseases relating to skin and kidneys is held on the inaugural day. H N V Madhavan from Sankar Netralaya in Chennai would deliver a lecture on stem cells while Dr S K Sankar on dementia during the conference.
