Hyderabad, Sept 16 :
The second wave of Swine Flu seems to be more virulent as three more deaths were reported in Hyderabad on Wednesday due to swine flu. According to the officials the death toll in the state due to Swine Flu has gone up to 16 as on today. Of the three victims who died on Wednesday, two were women who passed away in the Government Gandhi Hospital while another man breathed his last in a private nursing home.
The three Swine Flu cases were Madan Mohan, a Home Guard from Kurnool, who died at the Global Hospital in L B Nagar. Rajitha, A 25-year-old housewife from Medak district died at Gandhi Hospital on Tuesday evening.
In the third case, a 25-year-old woman K Santoshi, native of Warangal district died at Gandhi Hospital. The Government authorities have stepped up the measures to hold a check in the spread of H1N1 virus. The Swine Flu menace has been severe in the last four days accounting for 12 deaths.
