Endowment Minister Gade Venkat Reddy on Monday exhorted the service to the pilgrims was also a service to Lord Venkateswara himself and implored the Srivari Sevaks, Scouts and Guides to deliver their best during the ensuing Brahmotsavams.
Addressing the Srivari Sevaks, Scouts and Guides who had gathered at the Asthana Mantapam on the eve of the commencement of Brahmotsavam, he advised them to be disciplined and ensure that the pilgrims were not put to any hardships but guide them to all locations properly - Annadanam, kalyana katta, Mada streets, medical help, toilets, free dinking water etc.
Forest Minister P Ramachandra Reddy urged the volunteers to render service all devotees cutting across caste and creed and ensure the smooth conduct of the Brahmotsavam festivals.
Ttd Chairman D K Adikeshavulu Naidu, Executive Officer I Y R Krishna Rao, Chief Vigilance and Security Officer P Ramakrishna and Coordinator of Srivari Seva, T Ravi also participated.
Media Centre
Ttd Chairman D K Adikeshavulu Naidu informed that six computers with internet connectivity, fax and TV were set up for the mediamen.Endowment Minister Gade Venkat Reddy and Forest Minister P Ramachandra Reddy also participated in the inauguration of the media centre set up at the Rambagicha guest house for the benefit of the print and electronic media.
They exhorted the media men including photographers to create awareness on the arrangements and challenges before the authorities for the smooth conduct of the Brahmotsavam Festival.
