Rain hit roads across the state are set for repair

Hyderabad, Sept 23 :

Chief Minister K Rosaiah  reviewed  the  state of Roads  which were  badly hit  by the recent  rains in the limits of  Greater Hyderabad  Municipality and directed  the officials  to complete the repair works in time.

The  meeting which was convened at the secretariat  on Wednesday was attended by  Minister for Roads and  buildings Ms Galla Aruna  and  other  R and  B  officials.

The Chief Minister  urged the authorities  to take  up the road  repair works in the Greater  Hyderabad  Municipality area on a war  footing. The 304  km stretch  of Roads in Hyderabad were badly damaged  and  need  a lot  of repair work he stressed.

He also  asked  the officials  to set  the  Roads in the  37 district high ways, five  state high ways and  four  national highways in the state in fine condition so that the it  might  not  cause any inconvenience  to the  commuters
