Land for Satya Sai Seva Samithi

Hyderabad, Sept 24 :

 The Andhra Pradesh State Cabinet on Thursday gave its nod for the leasing out of 2,888 square yards of land at Shadnagar in Mahboobnagar district for the Satya Sai Seva Samithi.

The Cabinet that met with the Chief Minister, Mr K Rosaiah, in the chair, the first after the untimely death of former chief minister, the late Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, decided to lease out the land for the organization for 50 years on a nominal amount of Rs 1,000 per annum.  The Satya Sai Seva Samithi will set up an old age home, a medical centre and other public service-oriented centres on the land, the Minister for Information and Public Relations, Mrs J Geetha Reddy, told media persons after the Cabinet meet. The lease will come into effect immediately and the Samithi will establish the centers soon, she added.
